Jon Standley
Founder
Jon had a vision, clear as day, to bring transparency and structure to affordable home renovations. He recognized a fragmented market, where hardworking individuals, much like yourself, often found themselves lost in the maze of jargon and misunderstanding while navigating the unpredictable waters of construction. Jon, having felt the sting of an untrustworthy builder himself, took a stance. In 2014, he founded Raynes Construction, a company born from purpose and a commitment to ethics, integrity, and truly understanding homeowner needs.
With over 250 successful projects completed under Raynes Construction, it became evident to Jon that the same dilemma plagued the realm of new builds. Constructing lofts and extensions might seem straightforward on paper, but new builds—the blank canvas of opportunity—present a unique set of complexities. Yet with the right team, Jon discovered a world of simplicity hidden in that complexity. It’s not about cutting corners; it’s about understanding the formula, leveraging feasible studies, and mastering the art of collaboration to ensure success and satisfaction at every level.
Jon isn’t just a company owner; he’s an active participant in the architecture of his ambitions. He has personally completed several new developments, which has endowed him with invaluable insights into the nuances of property development. His extensive network features strategic partners, including party wall surveyors, architects, planning consultants, and top-tier new build tradesmen. This team, with a combined experience exceeding two decades, is not just trained in their craft—they’re passionate about bringing your vision to life.
Janam Satra
Project Manager
In 2023, Janam became an invaluable addition to our team, taking on the role of Project Manager. His extensive background in construction is evident in his qualifications in the field of Architecture from India and his completion of an MSc in Project Management. Janam boasts a wealth of experience from his involvement in various project types and sizes, and he has seamlessly integrated this expertise into our team.
Janam’s fresh perspective has brought innovative ideas and methodologies to our project management processes, enriching the way we approach and execute our projects. Born and raised in Mumbai and having resided in the UK for a few years, he has a strong grasp of the standards and practices within the industry. Outside of work, Janam is a passionate traveller who enjoys exploring diverse cultures and meeting people from around the globe. He also shares his love for watching and playing football along with other sports.
Dhruvi Dedhia
Junior Project Manager
Meet Dhruvi, our dynamic addition to the team who joined us in late 2023. Armed with an MSc in Construction Project Management, she stepped into the role of Junior Project Manager, contributing significantly to our team’s growth. Dhruvi brings a bundle of experience from her background in Architecture and Interior projects in Mumbai, enhancing our capabilities in in-house tendering drawings and efficiently handling various administrative tasks.
Dhruvi’s professional journey has been marked by swift growth, and she is poised to take on more significant projects independently. Her proficiency and dedication have been instrumental in elevating our team’s effectiveness and ensuring the seamless execution of projects.
Beyond the construction site, Dhruvi has a penchant for exploring towns across the UK. During her off time, you’ll find her immersed in the vibrant energy of London or gracefully navigating the waters during her swimming sessions.
Sasith
Schemes Delivery Manager

Sasith Mahawaduge is a Civil Engineer with over five years of experience in construction project management, specializing in high-profile infrastructure projects. As the Schemes Delivery Manager at RDK Civil Engineering (UK), he oversees residential developments, extensions, and major projects, ensuring efficient execution from planning to completion.
He holds an M.Sc. in Construction Project Management from the University of South Wales and a B.Sc. in Civil Engineering from the University of Moratuwa, with research in project management education and GIS-based land use analysis. An Associate Member of IESL, he also holds a CSCS certification.
With a strong focus on buildability solutions and project delivery, Sasith is a results-driven professional committed to delivering excellence in construction.
Ranga
Civil engineer
Ranga Kalupahana is a Chartered Civil Engineer (CEng MICE) with over 20 years of experience in project management, scheme delivery, and residential and commercial building structural engineering. He has successfully led multi-million-pound contracts and large-scale projects, ensuring timely delivery, cost control, and safety compliance.
With senior roles at leading engineering firms, Ranga has extensive experience in managing complex projects, driving operational excellence, and building high-performing teams. His expertise spans design management, stakeholder engagement, and strategic planning, contributing to successful project outcomes across residential and commercial sectors.
A results-driven leader, Ranga is committed to delivering innovative engineering solutions and is a key figure in the civil engineering industry.
